Kalaallit Nunaat, the land of the Inuits.

A couple of years ago I joined Erwan Le Lann on the “Maewan Adventure Base” project in Western Greenland.

Maewan is an 11 meters aluminum sailboat providing adventurers and scientist with a basecamp to approach the great unknown in order to climb, explore and discover.

A crew of world-class outdoor specialists in various extreme sport disciplines: mountaineering, skiing, climbing, ice climbing, as well as marine biologist taking samples in some of the most remotes part of the world

I joined the expedition for two months in Sisimiut, we fixed the boat and sailed around the west coast. We also had the chance to climb the north face of Nasaasaaq, that was probably a first ascent.
