Born and raised on the coast, the ocean has been a fundamental part of my childhood.

As a kid I was fascinated by Jacques Cousteau documentaries, and ever since then I’ve tried to enter the water everywhere I've traveled. It’s clear that the big blue sea will always occupy an important place in my life.

Free-diving brings a different feeling, an intense sensation of freedom mixed with personal challenge. It’s a sure way to discover your limits and push yourself while enjoying the serenity experienced in the underwater world while it’s still there for us to explore.

My aim is to raise awareness of our fragile oceanic ecosystem by capturing the special moments of humans interacting with the marine world. Our seas are in need of fierce protection, and it is all of our responsibility to take on personally.

As J.Y Cousteau put it so poignantly:

“Water and air, the two essential fluids on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans.”
